Eng. Nizar Al Hariri is a visionary and highly respected government lead with more than 28 years of successful track record in business development with a unique mixture of commercial management coupled with consulting analytical skills practiced in both government and private sector segments. Experienced across all aspects of business developments from FDIs attraction and deal mastering to JV set-ups, contractual negotiations, and funding arrangements of major project management. He was the CEO of the first Swiss/German Design API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) facility in Saudi Arabia and Middle East, CAD Middle East.

He joined the government sector in 2015 as VP for Pharma & Biotech in the Industrial Cluster and later became the CEO of the entity leading 10 industrial sectors. In 2020 and due to the global disruption caused by COVID-19, HE the Minister of Industry added to his obligations the lead of the government efforts to develop the required infrastructure for vaccines and biologics for Saudi Arabia and beyond. By 2022, HE the Minister of Industry appointed him as special advisor fully dedicated for the development of vaccines and biologics. Today Eng. Al Hariri is leading 12 government entities under one senior ministerial committee to unify their efforts/legislations and push the government mandate to execution by attracting the right investments for the country.

Eng. Al Hariri is a chemical engineer by background and acquired a master's degree from the University Cambridge UK in Advanced Manufacture Design and Management.
