KAUST Smart-Health Initiative (KSHI) aims to operate as an incubator to accelerate research innovation in life science, biology, AI, precision medicine and drive the development of new solutions by early-stage life science start-ups and promote entrepreneurship initiatives from junior and senior scientist from KAUST and beyond.

Professor Peiying Hong has been honored as one of the four finalists for the prestigious 2023 Letten Prize Award. Alongside her, KAUST Assistant Professor Paula Moraga secured the grand prize. The Letten Prize recognizes younger researchers’ contributions in the fields of health, development, environment, and equality in all aspects of human life. Furthermore, ‘the prize aims to raise public awareness of how research can be used to solve global human development challenges.’
