Eng. Nizar Al Hariri is a visionary and highly respected government lead with more than three decades of successful track record in business development with a unique mixture of commercial management coupled with consulting analytical skills practiced in both government and private sector segments. Experienced across all aspects of business developments from FDIs attraction and deal mastering to JV set-ups, contractual negotiations, and funding arrangements of major project management. He was the CEO of the first cGMP API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) facility in Saudi Arabia and Middle East, CAD Middle East.

He joined the government sector in 2015 as VP for Pharma & Biotech in the Industrial Cluster and later became the CEO of the entity leading 10 industrial sectors. Due to the global disruption caused by COVID-19, he was appointed to lead the government efforts in developing the manufacturing set-up and infrastructure for vaccines and biologics. Today Eng. Al Hariri is the Secretary General for a ministerial committee leading 13 government entities to unify the efforts/legislations and support the government in execution by attracting the right investments for the country. 

Eng. Al Hariri is a chemical engineer by background and acquired a master's degree from the University Cambridge UK in Advanced Manufacture Design and Management.
