Biography

Mohammed Alluhidan is the Head of the Health Economics Unit (HEU) of the Saudi Health Council, Saudi Arabia. He oversees the work program of the HEU including capacity building on health economics, and the generation and dissemination of evidence to help inform policy in the health sector. His research interests include economic evaluation in healthcare, health policy research and analytics, NCDs, human resources for health, and health system efficiency. He holds a BSc in health science from Simon Fraser University (Canada), an MSc in medicine from the University of Sydney (Australia), and he is pursing further education in health economics and policy at Lancaster University (United Kingdom).
