WISE 2023 is intended to encourage female students to consider a career in science and engineering ranging from academic to cooperate and governmental positions. Our intension is to show the personal journey not only the career journey but what it really takes to make it through. To narrow this gender gap, major efforts need to be invested by men and women alike and so this workshop will highlight some of the major efforts that are done on this front. We hope to spread awareness and motivation as there is plenty to do in the future to empower younger generations.

This workshop will include talks and panels by renowned scientists, engineers, editors, government officials, and entrepreneurs about their personal journey, struggles and life-changing approaches.
